you can pick your own , i have my monroe done which is a similar piercing and they gave me the option of either the titanium balls, or the gem. i find the titanium ball looks tacky on the monroe , but where your getting your it would look good .

It depends on the piercer and the shop.
Some piercing shops carry all kinds of different colored jewelry with, or without gems, and some mostly only carry basic, plain sterling silver jewelry.
It really depends where you go.

Sary most piercers do NOT carry sterling silver jewerlly- thats bad for a fresh piercing. They use stainless steel MOSTLY.

And it depends where you go. The studios I’ve been too didnt let me pick, but obviously, there are some that will. And the ones that will, will have a large range of jewerlly including gemmed labret bars. You’ll be able to pick out what you want as long as its suitable for a fresh piercing. I.e the correct size, the best metal, the suitable length etc. You could maybe get a colored one,,if it was anodised so the coloring didnt scratch off or anything. Theres actually a huge variety of jewerlly to wear in a labret- but dont go for a ring at first because these are detrimental to a fresh piercing- they bend the hole not allowing it to heal in a proper shape (unlike a straight post) they drag crusties into the piercing also.

Just ask your piercer, he’ll talk you through it all.
