Well the labret huh? Thats hot! I would tell you to wait 3 weeks or a month. I used alcohol to clean it (outside only) and it healed in a week, BUT I waited for a month to change out the jewlery. So hang in there you dont want to take it out and then it close up. That would really ****….good luck and happy piercing!!

OK… these are things your piercing should have explained to you. assuming you went to a professional shop.

    Aftercare

    About your piercing

They take about 2-3 months to heal…..

STOP touching it, and a WEEK is FAR too soon to even think of such a crazy thing.

Don’t use rubbing alchohol as its WAY to harsh and drying, don’t use hydrogen peroxide…

Yes, 2-3 months to heal. Use mouth wash 2-3 times a day (but with no alcohol) Avoid french kissing and oral sex. Don’t submerge in water like a pool or beach etc. Once swelling is down, you can replace the long ring with a shorter one. You should consult your piercer first. don’t mess with it. Wash your hands before any touching or cleaning. In the shower use no more than a dime sized bit of anti-bacterial soap (Dial works best) and clean the outside. You should buy a Spray called ocean spray. It is a salt water (non-iodized). Don’t eat a lot of caffeine, avoid alcohol. Brush your teeth every time you eat, don’t chew gum. You get the picture XD
