Well,
I can help you with the cartilage.
Gun Pros; It’s quicker, It’s probably less painful, It takes less to heal.
Gun cons; You could get a keloid, or bump, that sometimes can only be removed surgically, It’s not as sterile, You’re cartilage could get shattered.
Needle Pros; It’s cleaner, It’s less chance of infection/bump.
Needle Cons; It takes longer, it costs more, it takes longer to heal. hope this helps.

i have both of them done. your belly button takes awhile to heal and your ear sometimes gets caught on your brush when you are doing your hair, but i would do it, it is really cool.

I have a cartilage piercing. The cons of having it depends on you. I’ve known some people to get keloids as a result of having their ears pierced. Thankfully that hasn’t happened to me. Also make sure you wear a good quality earing and not any fake ones. Those will break your ear out. also make sure the tools used by the piercer are sterile. This is a must.

I love my bellyring it hurt for three day thats all. As for the cartlige it hurts to talk on the phone I had it done on the right side, everytime I answer the phone I hit it. If you done mind changing side when talking no problem. After a year I could take it so I took it out and got it done on the left.
